Driver calling system to improve efficiency of your logistics?
A driver paging system is to notify waiting drivers when and where they can load or unload their truck. The driver will receive a pager after arriving at the front desk.
There are variations of the driver paging systems to be defined in following options:
Numeric paging system: The pager of this system simply vibrates, gives a sound and notification by several led-lights on the pager. The driver is advised upfront where to load or unload the truck.
Numeric call system with number notification: This driver paging system is same as a numeric system but the front display of the pager can be used to instruct the driver to go to the bay number as sent to this pager.
Alphanumeric paging system: With an alphanumeric system you are able to send text messages to the (text) pager. The desired text message to be sent can be an instruction, information or any other useful message to inform the driver with the pager.
Alphanumeric calling system with software: A basic type of software or a more advanced type of software can be used to be able to call the pagers from a computer or computers connected to the same network.
